Ofsted & NDNA
Ofsted
All our nurseries are registered with The Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills (Ofsted) which regulates and inspects to achieve excellence in the care of children and young people, and in education and skills for learners of all ages. They register and inspect those who provide early education or childcare to help reassure you that when your children are in registered childcare they are cared for by people who are suitable.
Ofsted inspect all providers on the Early Years Register at least once every four years and write a report, which they publish on their website.
These reports will tell you about the quality of the childcare service. When inspections are carried out, a number of judgements are made that’ll tell you more about the quality of the education and care being provided. Each judgement is graded on a four-point scale; outstanding, good, requires improvement or inadequate.
We are proud to say that all of our 9 Stepping Stones Day Nursery’s are rated good or outstanding by Ofsted.
NDNA
We are a member of the National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA), an award winning national charity that provides support, information, advice and guidance to the childcare, early years and nursery sector.
The NDNA is a national charity which aims to enhance the development and education of children. They believe in quality and sustainability so put their members’ at the very heart of all they do.
The NDNA enhances, supports, nurtures, cherishes and challenges through innovative thinking which gives member nurseries the edge, which makes them the best they can be.
Quite simply as part of the NDNA we champion the best for our children!
